I’m convinced that one of the things God is doing in this generation, is He is purposely putting you in situations where you are in over your head, to get a resource into you that is also over your head, because God wants to release exploits that are off the charts!

Many people want miracles, but many people don’t want to be put in a position where a miracle is your only way out.
God’s option is the best, it’s called the miraculous intervention of God.

Because you’re not gonna let the devil stop you, am I right?…

You are chosen and you have been ordained to change the course of history
He has set you on planet Earth for such a time as this!
You are chosen!

In our generation, something explosive is about to happen.

Sean Smith

Jesus will find you, but here’s your responsibility, to make sure that when He knocks that it is louder than any other knock in your life… The problem is that there’s a whole bunch of knocking in your life. There’s a lot of distractions, there’s a lot of knocking, there’s a lot of noise.. and you have to get to a place that when you hear Jesus knock that it’s louder than any other knock.

You have the ability when Jesus knocks to say “I have many options, there are many things knocking in my life, I could do many things… but Jesus, I choose you in the midst of all of those options, you’re the one that I want, and you’re the one I’ll respond to”

It’s the only way.. I step in the ring with God and I encounter Him, He’s crazy in love with me… and all that other stuff just doesn’t even matter anymore… I think “God I’m so in love with you! I’ll give everything for you!”

Banning Liebsher - Living Passionately

It’s unnatural for a Christian to live without passion. And it’s unnatural for a Christian to not be passionate about God and about the things of God.

In Isaiah, it says that deep darkness will cover the people… but God’s answer is the glory of the Lord will arise on His people and people will come to His light.

Even in the midst of the plague that’s happening, what God is doing is He is raising up what we call revivalists. And He is raising up revivalists who have the glory of the Lord on them, and He is sending them into the plague. He always has an answer.

God is not intimidated by what is going on, He knows, “I am raising up an entire remnant of revivalists, an entire generation, an entire people of revivalists… and I’m going to send them into the very heart of this plague”

But if you’re going to be a revivalist that gets released into the plague to stop it, and this is what is happening.. is that young people are stepping onto their campus and they’re standing between the dead and the living and the plague is stopping and God is showing up

We were created to be passionate. People are drawn to passion. It’s why men go see movies like “Braveheart”…  cuz there’s something inside of us that is drawn to passion. And there’s something inside of us that knows, I was called and made and created to live passionate… And many people who don’t live passionately live through something else. They live through movies, or they live through whatever… You were created and made to live passionately, and we are drawn to passion. There’s something inside of us.

You were created to burn with passion!

God is sending revivalists into the very heart of the plague who are burning, passionately in love with Jesus.

Your city doesn’t need you to be better organized, it doesn’t need you to get more things together. It needs you to burn. Your campus and your workplace, you know what it needs? It needs you to be absolutely consumed, on fire, in love with Jesus.

Anytime my passion for God dwindles, I know it’s because I’ve drifted from the revelation that God loves me. I’ve got to get back to that place where I encounter again the reality that God is crazy about me.

This right here will change your life if you get this.. listen to this, John 15:9 says this, “As the father loved me, I also have loved you. Abide in my love” listen… Jesus says the same exact way that God the Father loves God the Son.. “the same exact way that God loves me, that’s how much I love you. Now abide in that love.”  God is not telling you to abide in your love for Him, He’s telling you to abide in His love for you… So I abide in His love for me. But in order to abide in His love for me, you have to know that God is in pursuit of you…

The reality is, we’re not knocking on God’s door, He’s knocking on our door… You didn’t find Jesus, He found you.. and you know what that means, He’s in pursuit of you.. it’s not like He was in pursuit of you and then got you saved and then thought “well my work’s done”… God didn’t get you saved and then say “um, I guess I’m not really into pursuing you anymore”

It’s the only way

All that other stuff just doesn’t even matter any more and I think “God, I’m so in love with you! I’ll give everything for you!”

The sovereignty of God means this to so many, “well, whatever happens in life, it’s just the will of God”

Some tragedy happens and they say “I don’t know why God meant for this to happen.. I don’t know why we lost the business, we worked so hard. But we know God has a purpose in it all”

It’s stupid, because there’s no biblical basis at all for God planning your tragedy. In fact, the full revelation of Jesus is continuously Him fixing the tragedy, healing the broken stuff.. but the spirit of stupid gets on the brains of God’s people and they just accept whatever happens as being the will of God.

So much of what is supposed to happen on the planet is directly connected to your and my response to the delegated place of authority that we’ve been given, to carry out this work of the gospel.

Too often, people look at tragedy and say “well, it was just the will of God” No! No! it wasn’t the will of God.. “well then why did it happen?”

I don’t know… Let me tell you one of the most freeing things you can learn is to say “I don’t know”

We have people who are forced by the pressure of man to explain things that God isn’t explaining.. It is valuable for you and for me to live in the midst of mystery, without blaming God.

The secret to your victory is in what you already know. He only leads us in places where He has already prepared us for victory.

Here’s the strategy of the enemy.. If he can get you and me to become fearful and anxious, we lose awareness of the tools that God has put in our life. They’re already there, but anxiety and fear cause us to lose track of what’s going on… The enemy works through accusation, through intimidation, through this fear, anxiety stuff… so that I become so conscious of this problem, that I’ve forgot the tools. And I am suddenly without equipment for a victory. And yet I’m only here because I’m ready. That’s heaven’s conviction.

The bible says “God is not willing that any should parish, but that all should come to repentance.”  That’s the will of God. Is it happening? No… Do people parish? Yes… Is it the will of God? No.

He has granted a season, whereby man gets to partner with Him and choose their destiny. He has made full provision for success.

C.S. Lewis put it best, he says “when the author steps on the stage, the play is over.”

Jesus says “Blessed is he who has not offended me.”

Here’s the key… Learn how to live in adverse situations that you cannot explain. Do not force yourself to have an opinion where He’s not talking. It’s foolish to have an opinion on something when God is not speaking.

The importance of living with mystery is so valuable, cuz that’s what brings us into the faith that attracts the invasion of God to fix stuff.

I live in a realm of peace that is superior to the storm, and to the conflict… That’s not meaningless theology. That is invitation for a divine encounter, so that your experience becomes exactly what the bible teaches. That we gain divine perspective… and from that place of divine perspective, issue divine authority over circumstances… So that those circumstances do not imprison us… So that those circumstances yield to the expression of the kingdom.

God is more passionate about my intimacy with Him than He is about my comfort. He will break that part of my life.

Is He a God of promise? Absolutely a hundred percent of the time… He’s 100% good… “well then why did this horrible thing happen?”

I don’t know, He hasn’t said a word… So I’m not saying a word.

All I need to know is that it wasn’t Him. This much I know, He is so good, He is incapable of giving someone that disease. Why? Because He doesn’t have it. You can’t give what you don’t have… well then how did it happen? I don’t know, we’re in a world of conflict.

So we live in this world of continuous conflict warring for your mind, because He is determined to raise up people that know His presence, that know the intimacy, the subtleness of His voice, the subtleness of His move.. It’s not just this contractual relationship. It’s not just this legal document that I hold up to Him to force Him to do what He has promised; it is not that.. Because that may work once or twice, but He will break you in that, because it defiles the very thing that He called you into… and that’s into the intimacy, and the relationship with God. He despises that kind of rigid… that’s the thing that Jesus died for was to destroy the rigid thing that brought people to God

The armor of God is not some abstract element that you memorize and quote and pronounce to get it on. It is God, my armor… Abiding in Christ is my armor, I need no vacation from His presence.

The bible makes it clear,  “Today is the day of salvation” Today… Salvation means, forgiveness of sin, healing of disease, deliverance from torment… Today is the day.

In weakness, through contending, in lack of breakthrough, it’s in the contending… it’s I’m being invited by God into my greatest triumph, into my greatest victory… it’s an invitation by God… these are not circumstances that have the right to rule over my life.. I have been ordained by God to rule over these circumstances, so these things that seem to testify against His goodness will testify to His goodness.
